The sign leads to an overgrown path to 3 tombs, wear insect repellent. Only the history descibed on the plaque is of interest.

As a tourist, I enjoy visiting places like this, with hundred of years of history behind it. Could be considered just an abandoned house . But if f you read about bahamian's past and life in plantations before you go, you''ll find out it worths the visit. Tips: Bugs spray before you go, recommended. Beware of the goats. They could... “Tour of Hermitage”

Great tour. Drove by a Bahamian wizard's house. This man is the gatekeeper in Exuma bring much to the Island, which is rich in African and European culture.
