Just letting any future Nassau visitor that the water tower is still closed for renovation. It is located between the Queen's staircase and Fort Fincastle.
This was closed to visitors when we were there, but it is a good skyline landmark you can use to get to Fort Fincastle and the Queen's Staircase, which are next door. Impressive big tower you can see from the cruise ship docks.
You can easily walk here from the port in under 10 minutes. This is at the same location as Queen's Staircase and Fin Castle. You can't miss it. You can't go in. We did the first couple of stops on a map we found on google: Nassau Walking tour
After the info/tour of the Queen's Staircase, you can walk up the staircase to visit Fort Fincastle and the water tower. There is also a straw market and a restaurant near the market and tower. This is an easy landmark to find. It can be a healthy walk from downtown, but I recommend a taxi. It is located next to Ft Fincastle and the Queens Staircase. There is a nice cafe (cash only) onsite. At one point, this was the highest structure on the island. It is just a water tower. It is historical, but featureless in all ways. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is now discolored.
