Having lived on St. Thomas for 11 years, Fairchild Park was one of my favorite spots to visit. From the top of the hill one can view Charlotte Amalie harbor to the south and St. John to the east. I as married in Fairchild Park almost 8 years ago and it was a beautiful setting. We went back a few years ago, after the hurricane, and it was overgrown and difficult to find. It didn't look like hurricane damage, but rather neglect.
