The beach is easy to miss. It's a beautiful beach, clear water, very shallow and calm, and a sand bottom. It would be a great place for kids to play. There are supposed to be turtles, but we didn't see any.

couldn't have picked a better location to stay out of the fray and still have enough conveniences nearby (we rented a car). Great sunsets on the deck, super beach, kayaking and decent snorkeling around the iron shore bordering the beach. Calm and quite which is what we were looking for in our vacation. Also esay to get to south marina... More

hard to find by car. but it is worth it. we went 3 times during our 1 week stay near Grace Bay. Sapodilla Bay has low level water, you can walk a while with the kids! some people even saw turtles in the morning. nice sunset too!

The reason to travel out to Sapodilla bay is to see the water, the Islands, and the houses. Seeing the houses from the road is worth the trip.

We almost missed this place as it was hard to locate on our non-descriptive map. Luckily, a nice woman with the neighborhood watch showed us where to park and pointed out the path to the remote bay. (We parked near the Las Brisas sign off of Chalk Sound Drive). The sand it clean and white and the water has a... More

Sapodilla Bay is what you imagine when you dream of an island sea side escape, Miles of crystal blue waters, you can walk for a mile and still see your feet. Very safe for children to walk, swim and play in. Venture out to the gazebo and you will see some draw dropping landscapes and a ship wreck. If your... More

What an amazing find! If you have a car this is a must see while exploring the other side of the island. The water is clearer than my bath water at home, you can walk out very far with water only up to your waist. Great place for a float, secluded and less windy than Grace Bay Beach. From Chalk... More

If you have rented a car for other reasons, and just want to try a different beach, why not try out Sapodilla Bay. It is very pretty, less busy, more secluded, but pretty much very similar to Grace Bay, less any current.

So serene and beautiful. Saw many turtles. Water is shallow for many feet and so clear. The turquoise blue and beauty of it make you think your in heaven. A must to go to!
