Loved the fact in the middle of Port of Spain, but yet still quite historical. In the midst of the Botanical Gardens is the President's House which needs a major restoration project to bring back its glory...

Located near down town this old garden is looked after with pride by the locals. Take a lunch and visit plants brought in from many parts of the tropical world.

Lovely, but they need to get the signage updated so we visitors can learn a little while appreciating the beauty.

This was establisted in 1818. It is free and open to the public. I like green spaces and the outdoors so it's a place that I like. Some may find it unimpressive. It's near the Emperor Valley Zoo and the Queens Park Savannah is opposite it.

Lots of potential to become a tourist attraction. In fact I've paid to see less spectacular flora and fauna in other Caribbean countries (and North American). Loads of beautiful and exotic flowers, nice grounds, but needs some work to be brought up to scratch as a tourist destination. Quite a few families having picnics in the carrot sheds, but facilities... More

Very attractive gardens and a big venue for events. The Grant-A-Wish Foundation Santa Claus Christmas Parade staged its Christmas Gift Presentation Ceremony there. I then stayed on to enjoy the Carols at Candle Light under the patronage of the President of Trinidad and Tobago. Magical experience. attendede v

its extremely brown. Good for a good jog but when you hear the word botanical you expect lush foilage. Didn't see that here. Lots of locales use the gardens or working out or a good chat.

Located right opposite the Queen's Park Savannah, the Gardens is a great place to get away from it all.. A stroll by yourself or your significant other.. you will see the back of the president's house, the many trees local to the area, little huts where you can have a picnic and even a little cemetary of historic icons.
