The forestry department have made a great effort in maintaining this place, but people who often visit this wonderful place often leave their litter all over the place sadly hereby spoiling the naturalness of the place. Otherwise, a beautiful hike and nice bathing here. More

What's not to like about a water fall? For something that Nature made it's excellent. The input of man leaves much to be desired though! Wish we would pay more attention to what God has so abundantly blessed us with! More

the trek up the hill is not a wary hike, very little attraction on the way. It is cool and welcoming but compared to other waterfalls do not expect a large volume of water cascading over the mountain. More

Great hike for the not too endearing nature lover but it can be a little lonely if you venture in a small group. More

We reached Maracas Falls from the Port of Spain in about an hour I believe. Our guide was perfect to take through the most suitable path. However, the trails did not seem to be that easy, you need to be careful all the time, that’s what our guide kept telling us all the time. We loved that about him, so... More

There are 2 main falls in Trinidad one is near the Maracas Bay in Port of Spain and has pools more than great falls (or so we were told by the hotel) and is about a 2 hour hike into the mountains. The other is called "Maracas Falls" and is located in St Josph about an hours drive from Port... More
