We walked to Smith's Cove from Sunset House. The walk is not far, but beware that there are few sidewalks and some of the overhanging plants occasionally force you to walk in the road. The cove is absolutely beautiful! The only thing that would have made our visit better is if we had brought chairs for relaxing. There are a... More

Lots of fan coral making a comeback. Good variety of fish. Bring a picnic, towels and your gear. The bathroom facilities are very clean and there is an outdoor shower for rinsing off. Just be ready for lots of chicks, hens and a rooster or two to join you!

Obviously it depends on the whether, but this IS a great beach and snorkel spot. Easy entry safe for kids. Right off of the bat we were greated by at least four barracuda that were feeding off of a huge school of chromis they had trapped right next to shore. The reef is in pretty bad shape but gets better... More

We stopped by here twice and the view is beautiful. The seas were too rought the days we came but others told us that typically the water is like glass. We plan on coming back

We loved Smith Cove! A small beach leads right into crystal clear water where you can swim, snorkel and explore! Very cool snorkeling to the left with lots of rocks for fish to hide in and awesome areas to explore to the right...walk over the rocks to find pools and a great spot to jump in and be washed back... Diving about 100 yards out was excellent. Rent tanks at Edens Rock and shore dive at Smith Cove (also at Edens Rock)

I LOVE this beach! It's almost always empty compared to Seven Mile and is so picturesque. To the previous poster about the snorkelling being poor, all I have to say is you must have some pretty high standards. You can stay literally 10 feet off shore and it's crystal clear, with tons of colourful fish and coral. I'm not a... More

Pretty. The way the rocks meet the shore, this is very picturesque and different from other GC beaches. We visited after hearing such good reviews of them beach. We found it to be a bit crowded though, and small. My husband did a bit of snorkeling too, and he really wasn’t impressed, . . . compared to other spots on... More

Great spot for the kids to explore pools in Limestone. Crabs, snails, etc... and a great swimming spot. Lots of shade (a major plus). Picnic area...bathrooms were gross when we were there....but usable.

Smiths Cove is beautiful. Cliffs are awesome. My family strongly prefers it over 7 mile any day! No crowds, gorgeous scenery. You can jump off the cliffs. The water is great! there are no facilities but you are very close to everything. Venture out! You will be glad you did :)
