There wasn't one thing I didn't love about Anegada. The extremely beautiful sail to the island was unbelievable. We rented scooters (highly recommended) and rode the length of the island and stopped at remote beaches lined with conch shells. Somehow we ended up at Cow Wreck which was a large stretch of beach with a fun little bar with the... More

This is my favorite place on earth. Really, the beaches are gorgeous and pretty much deserted. People are down to earth island folks with kind hearts. I love this place.

I honestly find it hard to believe that many locals have never even been to this place! A coral atoll (unlike its volcanic counterparts), Anegada is the flattest of all the islands. Literally translated as the 'drowned land', it's so flat that you can't actually see it from a distance (all those wreck dives are not merely coincidental!) Due to... More

Anegada is always the highlight of our sailing trip. Nice smooth sail into the ocean abyss to this magnificent island. Very simple, we found a few gift shops and 1 grocery store and 2 beautiful beaches. It has many great restaurants to celebrate any occasion and the mooring is in pristine turquoise water. Want to get away from it all...this... More

We've been to the BVI several times but never had the opportunity to get to Anegada. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We rented a truck and hauled all 16 in our party to Cow Wreck Beach. The beach bar was fun and their food and drinks were good. It's such a beautiful place to hang out.... More

Snorkeling is great and the sand is wonderful white powder. The ferry boat ride is always soothing from Tortola. A worthy day trip to stay relaxed in the BVI!

Well the sail there was great and the water at Loblolly and Cow Wreck beach were stupendous. We read up on snorkeling in the BVI and almost all reports highly recommended Loblolly- we were so disappointed!! There is a reef surrounding the beach but hardly any marine life and certainly no color to the seascape. Don 't get me wrong,... More

We sailed to Anegada on our trip for a 3 night stay. Oh my goodness, I almost hate to say how absolutely gorgeous those beaches and water are, really undescribable. Pinch me. Great swimming, snorkeling and kite boarding all on the same beach. Absolutely spectacular. The white sand feels like powder sugar under your feet and the waters go from... More

If you dream of clear blue waters and soft white sand, then this is the place for you. When swimming in the sea it,s like being in on huge swimming pool, the water is so clear and blue. definitely one of my favourite places in the caribbean!
