wow we had such a marvelous time enjoying this beautiful beach and bonus nearby quaint cafes and bars. The locals are very friendly and seemed like always willing to help visitors. I wish there weren't so many imported non native iguanas around the area and less garbage. It is a shame to have to see such natural paradise ruined by... More

We own condo in Dorado and enjoy our yearly visits to the island. The beach is right across the road so we take advantage of it first thing in the mornings and late evenings on days we are off exploring other sites and visiting family. This beach has wave breakers which make for a calm beach with very small waves... More

This is a good sized, quiet beach. It's out of the way, so it isn't crowded, but the presence of the nearby hotel makes it safe. It's a little dirty, but the water it's gorgeous, and the cove means great waves when the conditions are right.

Quiet & safe. The town of Dorado itself is one of the finest "quality of life" places in PR. You won't find pan handlers here. You will find opportunities for hot air balooning!

The beach was not the best one we seen. It was a little dirty. BUT the cool part was walking around the "lagoon" and up to the top of the lava rocks on the East side. There is a path that will lead you up there, and it has the best ocean views in Puerto Rico. Amazing experience!

You have to see it for yourself. This place is absolutely incredible. They will be opening as a six star resorts before Christmas 2012 and it is called the Ritz Carlton Reserve. Lot of glory there.

Was a nice public beach with public parking at no charge. It wasn't hard to get to and wasn't far from our hotel. Beach was a little dirty but had nice waves.

We've lived in Dorado for months and have been to every beach except the one in the town we live in. My husband and I walked onto this beach and right back off. 1) Parking is horrendous (warning: Just because you pay for parking, does not mean you will get a spot.) 2) The beach itself is nasty filthy 3)... We stayed at the Embassy Suites so this beach is on the property; that was the best part. It is a relaxing beach, hardly any waves. The sand is a bit dirty & lots of seaweed.

Beach was private and relaxing. Pool was AWESOME! Rocks were arranged so as to cut down on high waves. Towels were offered to guests as you entered the beach area. There was a 'wash off' shower as well.
