Very neat adventure, but not highly advertised in our experiences here. Would recommend this outing for anyone, but you have to try a little harder to find it. Even the locals love it. I would do it again!

Mark the tour guide made the tour very interesting and informative. Worth the 45 minute walk through the 2 caves. Watch out for the ghost of the little girl. Check out the bats hanging in the ceiling.

We stopped here in route to Ocho Rios. We hired a driver for $100 for the full day and he waited while we did our tours. (I can pass along his info if you would like, just inbox me.) You get the mining hemlet before going down into the caverns/caves. There are some underground waterways, stalactites, stalagmites, plenty of bats... More

We stopped here on the way to the Montego Bay airport from our villa near Ocho Rios. We had only planned on stopping for ½ an hour and ended up staying almost two hours. Fortunately, we had time to kill before our flight and we still made it to the airport in time, but it was a very pleasant place... More

We had a great time exploring the cave and learning from our tour guide Dwayne. After a couple of days in the artificial environment of a resort, it was great to see the rock formations, the bats, the interaction with the water table, and to talk about the role that limestone and mining play in the local economy. I was... More

this was worth the trip. It wasn't very crowded when we went so we had the tour to ourselves. If you like bats then you will like this tour. Even though the bats were hanging around they weren't buzzing around our heads and the cave was so big it didn't feel really closed in. This isn't the tours fault but... More

We did the Dunns River Falls and Green Grotto Caves Excursion through Royal Caribbean on our cruise this spring break with our daughter (7) and son (10, and we all really enjoyed our experience. There was a huge group on our tour so it was tough to hear our guide at times, but the caves were really cool and the... More

This place is a great 1-2 hr excursion. we visited with our 3 and 6 yr old and we saw tons of bats learned about echo location and got some great pictures. The staff is professional and its reasonably priced.

Our family lucked out, and came on a Sunday, when there was no one else around. (Not a soul - just us and the guides.) Got a young tour guide who was obviously very enthusiastic about the caves, and gave us a great tour that was very thorough. From the creepy sink holes, to the plethora of bats, to the... More
