Kind of hard to find because it is not on the main road but its clean, peaceful, and beautiful. What more could you ask for?

Relatively clean beach for a public one. As a result of the huge bus I was traveling on, the walk to get to the beach was long and treacherous because the bus would not have been able to make the turns. The return walk to the bus, through a "short cut" was steep and treacherous. The bathroom was a dark,...

Frenchman Cove is worth a look. 8km out from PA and bus fare was $100 from Folly Oval. $700 to enter and the burger and fries was passable. Beautiful clear stream runs through the property. Nice enough beach to grab some sun on. Water was fairly choppy the day I was there but definitely a nice (but little) beach to...

Very quiet beach, it was a little cloudy when we visited but still beautiful! While snorkelling I saw cuttle fish and an octopus! There's a few little food shacks and the occasional vendor but not too much hastle at all. We enjoyed learning about how one fellow makes souvenirs from bamboo and we took home a a nice piece for...

Tucked so neatly away, this is one of the nicest beaches in Portland. Given the rocky terrain in Portland, its not often you find such a nice natural spread of beach

There are people who will try to sell you stuff but wasn't bad when we were there, and everyone was very nice and not pushy. Note - it's about a 10 min walk down from the main road on a somewhat rocky road/path. Definitely...

Beautiful beach with good shade and places to eat. Public toilets were in a bad way. Watch out for sea urchins.
Okay maybe not The Best. I have not been to all. But the water is clear, calm and warm. There is a reef with colourful fish just a few meters of shore. Lots of trees so you can shade yourself. A small mineral spring feed pool so you can clean up. And yummy food vendors who are not too pushy....

Dreadful track down to the beach, but a lovely bay when you get there. Unspoilt, and friendly locals and stall holders.Someone is trying to buy the bay to develop for private tourism. please help to stop them.
