I've seen Cabarete grow from a sleepy little town to what it is today. We visit the beach several times a year and enjoy the food options on the beach and off the beach the most.

Cabarete is a lovely beach to visit, day or night. Unlike Punta Cana, which is beautiful but overwhelmingly large resorts and tourists, or Las Tirenes, which is beautiful but has an increasing crime problem, or Sosua, which is nice to visit by day but much more for locals and not necessarily safe at night, Cabarete is a real blend of...

Perfect local family beach for long stroll, or to check out all the restaurants and bars in the evenings, with their lanterns and coloured canopies by the ocean.
great spacious beach to walk ... lots of beach restaurants with a good variety of food ... some shopping

Beautiful beach with shallow, crystal clear waters and trendy restaurants. About 10-15 minutes from Sosua.

It isn't the most scenic (Las Terrenas is) or liveliest (Sosua or Bavaro are) but for sporting...

The beach is amazing - kept clean. Bring $$ for a beach chair, but you get amazing service. Avoid Sundays.
