The cathedral was even more impressive inside than out, and the Sunday Mass was wonderful. Worth a visit (note the gates are often locked, so you have to time your visit carefully).
Nice smallish cathedral in centre of old town, the square is now restored and the cathedral itself is what it is. Well worth a visit, but respect the tradition and wear respectful clothes
Remember to avoid shorts and strappy tops or you wont be allowed in (ladies bring a wrap around to cover up with). An impressive Cathedral with an air of solitude and grace, well worth a visit,

The Bishop of Havana celebrated Mass and thanked all of us tourists who were there in several languages á la The Pope! There is a very good cafe outside in the square...

The people are fantastic, lots of poverty seen in the centre of Havana of their people, fast paced drivers, I wouldn't specifically stay in Havana but would travel to spend a...

I have been fortunate enough to travel a great deal over the years but this was my first organized tour. Cuba was a wonderful experience even with a few hurdles and hardships that the country presents. The people were wonderful and friendly. The country side was fascinating and full of interesting days of driving through the countryside. Havana and various...
