This is a pleasant hike. We went with our ten year old daughter, teenage sons and a close friend. The view of the lake was exquisite. It is a gorgeous shade of blue with majestic mountains and trees. We did this hike after already completing about 12 miles...which was a lot coming from the flatlands of Miami! We thought 2.2 isn't bad. Well about 1/2 way into it we couldn't believe how long 2.2 seemed! It was a wonderful hike though. Pretty walk through the forest...then into a meadow, through a rocky area and finally to the lake!...
