We visited Lulworth cove this weekend it is such a stunning place. The walk to Durdle door was too steep for our 3 year old but I definitely want to come back with my camera. It is a photographers paradise.

Definitely worth a visit, whether old or young. It's not too touristy or commercialised which is lovely, although I imagine busy at the weekend/in summer.. We went on a Friday which was quiet and peaceful and all the more wonderful for it. The Cove and Durdle Door are wonderful examples of the Jurassic coastline and the different types of rock...

The walk was stunning but contrary to recommendations by friends and hotel staff, it was definitely NOT for buggies. The walk to Durdle door has quite a few steep inclines so best strap the child onto your back instead. The effort is worth it though. Takes your breath away.
This must be one of the most photographed locations in the UK and quite rightly so. It's simply stunning. Of course much depends on the weather. If you are fortunate to get there when the sun is shining then you are in for a treat. There is so much to see and do. You can just walk from Lulworth Cove...

Been to durdle door a few times now, seems to have an atmosphere that is both calming and relaxing, feel like I am home.... Never had this feeling with anywhere I have been before. It is sad to see so any land slips, some are larger than others. The steps to durdle door, to get on the each have slid...

Fantastic place for a long walk and if you like you can stay on the beach too. Views from the top are simply stunning, superb location for taking photos. We visited in October but it was warm enough to have a swim, water was fantastic, super clean, we loved it. Excellent day out. It is a must see location !...

We had planned to take the bus to Lulworth Cove and then walk from there to Durdle Door and back, but a taxi driver at...

Lulworth Cove was beautiful and the view of it from above, on the climb to Durdle beach, was very impressive. Durdle Door and beach were both gorgeous but I can highly recommend going early as it's a fair walk from Lulworth and it got busy towards lunch time.
