i was apprensive because of earlier reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, modern and the staff was excellent. Max's Restaurant was wonderful with an extensive liquor selection. The only downside was it was a couple of blocks off the main drag (cold walk in winter), and like all downtown hotels the parking fees sting. All in all,... more
Like the look...but this place is way over priced and the product (other then brunch-which is expensive but good) is really ordinary. Its the charm of 50 years ago that keeps this going...because the product of today is sub par more
