Review for Unit #31 Stayed here for a long weekend to go snowboarding at Snow Summit. The price was right for a 2 bed/2 bath within 5 minutes of the slopes...but now I know why--this place is run down. One of our criteria for great food is if the restaurant is a converted house. The North Shore Café in Fawnskin (Big Bear area in southern California) is the home of chef Richard Ortiz and his wife Barbara.
