In term of location, this hotel is close to JR Kyoto Station. Shuttle service from Kyoto to hotel is available. By the way i had been here by train so i managed to use shuttle service. Very scenic streets with old houses, even though I did not see any geishas it is still nice to walk around this area. more
Very impressive rooms with great paintings and decorations. The grounds must also be very nice in fall and spring (I visited in January, but it was still nice to walk the grounds as there is a lookout spot with a nice view of Kyoto) more
