Stayed with family in 2 bed apartment 28 - 30 Dec 2011. We found the apartment to be spacious and well equipped but starting to show its age. Double glazing kept noise from the school next door to a minimum. Staff especially Andy, were friendly and helpful despite some language difficulties. Location was within walking distance of main Beijing attractions.... more
City Wall Marriott is a convenient location to begin your adventure in Beijing. Near by attractions (within walking distance) is much history including the Forbidden City. If you are a shopper the pearl market and silk market are an easy cab ride away (4USD). Beijing rail station is nearly next door so people watching is amazing. Staff at the hotel... more
Definitely tobaggan down the wall if you have a chance, that was my favorite part of the trip. We took a gondola up and rode the little taboggans down and had the best time. more
