The David Sheldrick Elephant & Rhino Orphanage was my favorite attraction in Nairobi. For only one hour a day, visitors get a chance to watch the orphaned elephants feed and play, while getting an overview into the important purpose of the trust in rescuing orphaned elephant and having them introduced back into wild. I visited Shalom House in April 2011. The environment is welcoming, friendly and safe. With clean facilities. All the staff were polite and trustworthy. I would highly recommend! more
