It was a good choice for us to stay in Christchurch: centrally located, very clean and relatively inexpensive. Stayed at Centrepoint on Colombo last month for 4 nights. Found the accommodation very comfortable with everything we needed. Location was ideal, currently just outside of the city's 'Red Zone". Our hosts, Jeff and Naomi, were very welcomging and provided us with detailed advice on 'everything Christchurch'. With only 12 rooms, the property has a very personal touch about it.... more
A bit disappointing. Our friends had told us about the Antarctic Center and Christchurch. There was some confusion with the tour as to what bus or van we were supposed to be on.
