Genie met us at the Railway station promptly on time as promised with a warm greeting. With a spring in her gait, we all headed off to discover the many city venues that would interest any traveller. Her knowledge of the city and it's history were excellent. Her tour was thoroughly enjoyable for the 3+ hours and very reasonable fee.... more
Dined at Two Souls during our recent visit to Wellington, located in Wakefield Street, opposite the New World supermarket. We received a genuinely friendly welcome from our waitress and enjoyed a very satisfying meal. at a reasonable price. The seafood chowder was a highlight of the experience. Stayed here for 5 nights in January, in a studio room overlooking Te Papa Museum. Just outside the heart of the city, but still within walking distance of everything, the accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including a washer/dryer.
