I just love European pedestrian zones and shopping streets... Getreidegasse is great....no cars, easy strolling around and easy getting around. Perfect to explore - also great to go with little kids since they can walk freely...there is also a McDonald in a historic building in the street, by I personally prefer a little Austrian cafe - and luckily Austrian sweet... more
Stayed in single room (#45) at the Stieglbräu on a business trip. Room is depressingly small with a view onto the railroad tracks. There is constant noise from train traffic during the night. Windows aren't soundproof enough. The bed is very tiny and the mattress extremely hard and uncomfortable. The room and the bathroom were clean, sheets and towels spotless.... more
One of the best hotels i ever stayed. Very friendly staff, amazing large luxurious appartment with a breathtaking panoramic view to the town and mountains. We loved the sauna and the breakfast. Would love to go back.... more
