The Musée Granet is active in programming interesting exhibitions, in addition to having a good standing collection of its own. Most tourists head straight for the Cézannes, but there are many other interesting works to see, and the recent success of winning a loan from the Jean Planque collection has added to the museum's interest. more

The Cours Mirabeau is a combination of architectural delight, with magnificent buildings on both sides of the street, café life to all hours, all year round, and entertaining markets - antiques, bric-a-brac, Christmas specialities etc. Not to mention the fountains, including one which bubbles with hot water, even when all the others are frozen... more
