Just what the Barbican needs! A gorgeous friendly shop with stunning displays and yummy cakes! My husband and I popped in to see the cafe and were very warmly welcomed by Shelley, the owner. We had a 3 course lunch at the restaurant for £7.97 each. You have to book on line and I requested a window table which we got and the food was excellent. There were 4 choices and 3 courses. This was the first time that I have tried a Jury Inn and I was very pleasantly surprised. A good modern budget hotel somewhat reminiscent of the old Moat House Group. Very polite and well trained staff - all English for a nice change; a comfortable room on the 8th floor with views over Plymouth Sound. A good beakfast. Snacks... more
