We were staying here for business and had a look at the reviews before we booked it. It seemed to be a good place and we were looking forward to staying. We went to the Crooked Billet for my Birthday, and it was great. They are relaxed and laid back, while still maintaining the ambience of a high level restaurant....beer on tap followed by a fairly decent wine list...not the cheapest in the world but why should it be, the food and table service was wonderful. I was blown away when I stayed here by the location, stunning grounds, beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, the food, the AMAZING room and luxury spa!! As we drove up towards Danesfeild Hotel I couldn't believe my eyes 'STUNNING'!!!! We checked in and the very well presented staff where extremely welcoming and helpful!
