A special evening dedicated to the tasting of scotch and cigars accompanied by a fine meal. The night started with a meet and greet at the entrance to the restaurant. Catch the ferry over from Maffeo Sutton Park or take your own boat. It offers a great place to walk amongst the trees or along the shore. Snack bar is open in the summertime and sells ice cream. more
I really should not tell more people about Penny's because there will not be a table left for me. On the water in Nanaimo Harbour it has the best Mexican food around but they are only open on sunny days spring to fall and spend the winter in Mexico doing research. Only about 10 tables and great service. more
