Not sure why, but I'd rather stay in a small old leaky log cabin than in a (for example) large newer hotel near a national park boundary. Our cabin was small but clean and functional. The dining room at the lodge was spectacular. We were there to hike and see the scenery, so the on-site cabin was perfect. Also appreciated... more

Pros: accommodation just next to the rim / heating works perfectly in room / spacious room / free wifi at lobby / free parking Cons: little pricy (but that might be normal for this location) paid 100usd for standard room / no TV in room / no wifi at room / thin walls,so u r able to hear ur neighbor... more
