I decided to visit one of the most remote National Parks, the Dry Tortugas National Park and Fort Jefferson. The trip the Fort Jefferson was a unique experience. It is worth the 2.5 (one way) boat ride. If the boat crew tells you that is it going to be a bit bumpy and suggests dramine -- I would take their advice. We heard their suggestions but neither one of us typically get sea sick/motion sick. Awesome place. Amazing history, structure and place in the waters between the Gulf and Caribbean. Beyond the beautiful scenery, it's amazing that this place exists and was built here in the middle of the ocean on a tiny spot of land so long ago.
